In Lights
I recently did a short, animated promo which was presented to the public on “the largest continuous sign in Times Square” – about a quarter of an acre of delicious, full motion video.
While most of the people were probably trying as hard as they could to ignore it (meaning just about everyone besides ourselves and our clients), i thought I’d share it with my teaming masses of fans here on my blog.
Click the link below to watch the video – you’ll need quicktime player. The video is about 25 megs so just give it a minute. Also, there’s a lot of traffic noise so maybe turn down your speakers…

Gollums in the toast…
Moldy old oats, half crazed and bearing whiskers that could tarnish a flea’s feelings, rolled each ear backwards in a step-wise procedure that held most of us captive for all of about five minutes. It was understood, amongst us sully goat-herder types, that the beard of a week-old meal always bore a clear indication of it’s intentions through color. Thankfully, the once edible primordial soup in question was clearly benevolent…though it’s apparent possession of teeth, paired with the ability to move and make facial expressions on it’s own, troubled us quite a bit.
Suki on the Ceiling

This was the first drawing I did for my love, Suki.
One night while standing on the sidewalk (outside the gallery where we’d met), Suki startet singing. It was the first time I’d really ever heard her singing voice, which , as it turned out, was one of the most enchanting things to experience in this life.
She started to sing about being on the ceiling. Just being up there. What it was like upside down. It was happy song, about being happy on the ceiling.
